Russian occupation forces deployed the special equipment on the houses of the town of Rubizhne in the Luhansk region.

The Ukrainian city of Rubizhne continues to be destroyed by the shelling of the Russian military.

Recently, the invaders have used the UR-77 Meteorit self-propelled system in the city.

This self-propelled unit is designed to create passages through the minefields, but the Russian forces are also using them against fortifications.

The chassis holds two launchers for the DM-140 missiles and compartments with the UZP-77 or UZP-67 detonating cable.

Mines are exploding due to their detonators being impacted by the shock wave from the detonation of the charge of the demining installation. The shock wave is also partially disrupting the target sensors of the mine’s tripwires.

Previously, in March 2022, the Ukrainian military seized the UR-77 “Meteorit” demining self-propelled jet installation from the Russian personnel.

Now, one of the most dynamic activities of the enemy is observed in the battles for the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region.

The enemy is conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone with the goal to defeat the Joint Forces.

Also, they are striving to establish complete control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and ensure the land “corridor” between these territories and the occupied Crimea.

The offensive action in the direction of Novotoshkivske, and assault operations in the areas of Rubizhne, Popasna, and Maryinka continue.
