The invaders are controlling a major part of Sievierodonetsk. This means approximately 70% of the city.

This was stated by Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

According to him, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in its new positions. Fierce battles continue.

“Part of the Ukrainian military is retreating to the more advantageous, already prepared positions. Another part continues fighting inside the city,” Serhiy Haidai said.

There is no possibility to bring humanitarian aid into the city. At the same time, according to the Head of the Luhansk region, the Sievierodonetsk hospital has a sufficient number of medicines and other medical supplies, and the humanitarian headquarters have stocks of food.

“This might be enough for a while,” Haidai added.

He stressed that Lysychansk is under the full control of Ukraine, but all free settlements in the region are under constant fire.

The evacuation of civilians is currently impossible.

At the same time, in the Luhansk region, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the BRDM-2 of the Russian invasion forces.
