The U.S. President Joe Biden instructed the State Department to provide another $400 million in military aid to Ukraine.
According to the White House, the funds will be allocated for defense articles and services of the Department of Defense, and military education and training.
This means that the funds will be directed to the defense needs of Ukraine, in particular to the military education and training.
“I hereby delegate to the Secretary of State the authority to direct the drawdown of up to $400 million in defense articles and services of the Department of Defense, and military education and training, to provide assistance to Ukraine,” Biden wrote.
The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, has already reacted to the allocation of aid. He thanked the allies for their support.
“Another $400 million for military aid to Ukraine from the USA. U.S. President Joe Biden instructed to allocate such an amount,” Andriy Yermak noted.
The head of the President’s Office added that the best answer to the enemy’s terror is force. Therefore, “military aid for Ukraine is exactly the power that will allow us to win the war.”
According to the Pentagon, the new aid package will include ammunition for various systems, vehicles, equipment spare parts, and more.

As previously reported, on November 10, the USA announced the allocation of a new package of military aid to Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will be provided with additional missiles for air defense systems and shells for artillery.
The White House also promised Ukraine the support of the US regardless of the results of the midterm elections to the Congress.
