In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed Russian invaders’ armored vehicles on the outskirts of Novomykhaylivka.
The footage of the destruction of Russians was shown by the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
Soldiers holding the line in this area said that invaders continue to storm the village of Novomykhaylivka, located near Marinka, almost every day.
This area continues to be one of the hottest spots on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
Ukrainian paratroopers are successfully destroying the invaders’ armored vehicles and infantry.
Thus, on Sunday, March 10, the enemy once again stormed Ukrainian positions with infantry supported by armored vehicles.
“However, even this attempt ended in a complete fiasco for them: the armored vehicles were left burning in the field, and the infantry was destroyed,” the 79th Air Assault Brigade emphasized.
Paratroopers have published a video showing the results of their work of destroying invaders. The footage shows the results of a coordinated destruction of several units of enemy armored vehicles.
The first seconds show the Ukrainian artillery firing on the Russian convoy and the destruction of the IFV, which then caught fire. Behind a destroyed infantry fighting vehicle was an MT-LB tracked tractor used as an armored personnel carrier, but the footage shows that it did not move.
Also one another destroyed invader’s vehicle in a forest is seen burning violently.
At the same time, Ukrainian drones were actively flying over the battlefield, presumably helping to adjust artillery strikes.
Novomykhaylivka is located about 12 kilometers south of Marinka, which Russian forces have been trying to capture since 2014. Invaders have intensified these assaults since early October 2023, and now control the area where Marinka used to be, as the settlement itself no longer actually exists.
