The Ukrainian military knocked out the Russian invaders from one of the positions along the Sloviansk-Bakhmut highway.

The military in the AEROBOMBER group released the footage of the combat work of the 30th Mechanized Brigade.

Before the assault, the Ukrainian military launched artillery strikes against the Russian position.

Reconnaissance drones helped track the actions of the Russians, and UAVs that dropped grenades assisted in knocking the invaders out.

The invaders tried to shoot back and used anti-tank weapons.

The Ukrainian military also involved at least one tank in the assault on the position.

The end of the video captured neutralized Russian soldiers and a Ukrainian soldier resting in an occupied position after the assault.

The battle took place near the E40 highway (Bakhmut – Sloviansk) between the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Zaliznianske.

Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defense, also confirmed that the eastern group of troops launched an offensive in the area of the village of Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

“The eastern group of troops launched an offensive in several directions at the same time today. In the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Yahidne, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka,” said Hanna Maliar.

Hanna Maliar also added that our troops are advancing in all these directions.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian military continues to defeat Russian forces in the area of Kurdiumivka settlement in the Donetsk region. Also recently, the military has liberated the village of Rivnopil of the Velyka Novosilka district, located at the border of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
