The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on the ongoing de-occupation of the Kharkiv Region.

In the morning summary for September 11, 2022, the units of the Defense Forces were reported to be in the city of Kupiansk.

At the same time, the liberation of other settlements in the Izium and Kupiansk districts is still ongoing.

In general, since the beginning of the offensive in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions, the Ukrainian servicemen have freed over two thousand square kilometers of Ukrainian territory from the invaders.

The day before, Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, announced the liberation of the settlements of Vasylenkove and Artemivka in the Kharkiv region by the forces of the 113th Independent Territorial Defence Brigade.

Meanwhile, Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, requested not to spread information about the supposedly liberated settlements before official announcements. According to her, statements about cities and villages that are not yet fully under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or those whose liberation is not considered in the coming days, are circulating on the Internet.

As previously reported, according to the latest official reports, battles for the city of Lyman in the Donetsk region are still ongoing.
