The enemy continues shelling the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. They use helicopters, drones, artillery, and anti-aircraft guns.
State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports about this.
The communities of Krasnoilsk, Bilopolska, Esmansk, Shalyhinska, Novoslobidsk, and Seredyno-Budska of the Sumy region were fired at yesterday.
Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivsk, and Snovsk communities were shelled in the Chernihiv region.
“The helicopter of the Russian aggressors launched two unguided missiles on the territory of the Esman community. Later in the evening, the Russian helicopters struck twice at one of the settlements of the Bilopol community with unguided missiles,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
Enemy drones were reported to fly over the territory of the Velykopysarivska and Krasnopilska communities. Later, one of the settlements was hit with mortars. 32 hits were recorded.
The enemy released approximately 30 mortar mines at the Seredyno-Budska community. Civilian infrastructure was damaged.
Also, explosions were recorded in the Chernihiv region. The enemy fired mortars at populated areas of the Semenivska community.
On the morning of July 5, 34 mortar shells were fired at the territory of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community.
As previously reported, border guards do not detect enemy strike groups capable of launching an offensive, neither in Belarus nor in self-proclaimed Transnistria, as well as at the border with the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
