The frontier territories of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions are regularly suffering fire from the Russian troops, which the enemy opens from its own territory.

Yesterday, the enemy launched missile attacks from the aircraft and carried out fire attacks using artillery, MLRS, mortars, and small arms.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The invaders were firing on the Velykopisarivka, Krasnopillia, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Shalyhyn, Novoslobidske, Esman, and Seredyno-Budsk communities of the Sumy region, along with the Snovsk community of the Chernihiv region.

4 missiles struck an enemy aircraft on the territory of the Esman community. Subsequently, the enemy struck in the vicinity of the village of the same community with MLRS and artillery.

“Over 40 explosions were detected. Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings have been damaged,” the reports said.

Several settlements of the Bilopillia community were under artillery fire. There, 15 artillery rounds were recorded.

Bilopillia and Velykopisarivka communities were fired at with 120 mm mortars – six and four shots, respectively, along with ten shots with 82 mm mortars fired at the territory of the Krasnopillia community.

In the Novoslobidske community, 14 MLRS shells were ruptured.

Shalyhyn community was fired at with self-propelled howitzers, grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns. In the direction of the Seredyna-Buda community, the enemy fired twice, using 120 mm mortars, heavy machine guns, and automatic grenade launchers.

The Khotyn community was shelled with small arms.

The Snovsk community in the Chernihiv region was fired at with artillery. 12 explosions were reported.

In addition, in the territory of the frontier communities, the work of reconnaissance aircraft and UAVs were recorded.

Previously, the Russian invasion troops were reported to use “Lancet” kamikaze drones against the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
