Up to 15 strikes were recorded in the direction of the Seredyna Buda town in the Sumy Region. According to preliminary information, the Russians used 120mm mortar.
The incident is reported by the Operational Command “North”.
The first explosions were recorded around 5:15 am, another series – an hour later.
No military personnel or civilian casualties were reported.
The information on the damage to civilian infrastructure is being clarified.
The State Border Guard Service reported that one of the mines hit the backyard of a private house.
They added that another mortar attack took place at 8 am. Three mines exploded on the outskirts of the village on the border of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
The Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration clarified via Telegram that some houses of civilians got damaged on the outskirts of Seredyna Buda.
He also added that at approximately 6:30 a.m. the enemy fired from its territory at the outskirts of the Stari Vyrky village in the Bilopillya community. The Russians likely used self-propelled artillery.
On May 25 Russians shelled Krasnopillia in the Sumy region. 20 houses and power lines were damaged.
