Ukrainian forces are carrying out сombat shakedown and strengthening of units in the frontier areas with Belarus.

Currently, the State Border Service is erecting fortifications, and structural units are being strengthened by the firepower.

“We continue to increase our capabilities to repel the alleged enemy attack from Belarus. Together with the Armed Forces, the National Police and the National Guard, we are carrying out measures to interact with the structural units of the State Border Guard Service for the effectiveness of actions in case of a threat. Border guards are making every effort to ensure that our country is protected starting from the border,” said Serhii Serdyuk, Deputy Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The readiness of MIA units on one of the border sections was checked by Ihor Bondarenko, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“The Minister of Internal Affairs determines and constantly carries out tasks to quickly clarify the needs of the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system in the places of deployment and immediately solve them,” said Ihor Bondarenko.

It should be reminded that Lukashenko and Putin have agreed to deploy a joint regional group of troops.

The group will be based on the army of Belarus.

“In connection with the escalation on the western borders of the Union State, we agreed to deploy a regional grouping of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. This is all according to our documents. If the threat level reaches the current level, as it is now, we begin to use the grouping of the Union State. The basis (I always talked about it) of this group is the army, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus,” Lukashenko said.

There was also an appeal by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Khrenina, who emphasized that Belarus will not fight “either with Poles, but not with Lithuanians, but not with Ukrainians.”

“Do not provoke us – we are not going to fight with you. We do not want to fight with Lithuanians, Poles, or even more so with Ukrainians. If you do not want and will not take the wrong steps, then there will be no war,” he said.

At the same time, Belarus recorded an echelon with military equipment heading towards the Russian Federation. The train with reactivated Т-72А tanks was filmed at the Orsha railway station in the Vitebsk region.

Analysts from the Belarusian group “Belarus Gayun” noted that the shooting date is about the morning of October 9.
