The Czech company Isolit-Bravo donated UGV Trail-Blazer unmanned ground vehicles to the Ukrainian military.
The Czech media reported on this.
The Czech company supplies its unmanned ground vehicles to the Ukrainian military at the front line to perform logistical tasks and evacuate the wounded.
Trail-Blazers are delivered directly to the units to avoid bureaucracy and possible delays. Unmanned ground vehicles are used by the soldiers of the 1st Tank Brigade.
In total, Isolit-Bravo has already transferred 8 Trail-Blazer drones to Ukraine free of charge, and four more are ready for shipment.
According to Philip Halupnik, the developer of the unmanned platform, the remote-controlled drone is ideal for helping soldiers.
Due to an electric motor and a powerful battery, the drone is able to provide up to 8 hours of autonomous operation and a range of up to 32 km. It has a maximum travel speed of 4-8 km/h.
An operator controls it from a control panel within a radius of 1 kilometer. The drone is silent and has a minimal thermal signature.
The platform has a lifting capacity of up to 350 kg.
As noted, the company and its owner, Kvido Štěpánek, have been actively helping the Ukrainian army since 2014. Štěpánek has shipped several convoys of trucks with humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
The company’s facilities employ dozens of Ukrainians, some of whom were hired after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
The company is also developing other versions, including a smaller one that will soon be shipped to Ukraine and another armored version with a tracked mine disposal device.
