Ukrainian defenders captured Russian invaders during a successful assault on the enemy positions.
The corresponding video was published by the National Guard of Ukraine in a Telegram.
Russians were captured by the soldiers of the 15th “Kara-Dag” Brigade of the National Guard in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
During the assault on the enemy’s positions between a small group of Ukrainian national guardsmen and invaders, a gunfight ensued at close range.
Judging by the video, the task of Ukrainians was to wrest ground from the enemy and capture their stronghold.
Thanks to a successful combat mission, NGU soldiers captured two Russian invaders who remained alive after the fight and were surrounded.
The footage shows that invaders decided to surrender, remaining alive.
OSINT analysts determined that the assault on Russian positions took place near the village of Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
As previously reported, recently the soldiers of the 79th Separate Battalion of the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade repelled the assault of Russians in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The soldiers repelled the assault of invaders with the use of remote mining, mortars and grenade machine guns.
Enemy armor was also hit by FPVs with kamikaze drones and other anti-tank weapons.
It is reported that during the assault, Russians lost 1 tank, 5 armored personnel carriers and 1 UR-77 mine clearing vehicle and several cars.
