Operational Command “South ” reported about a strike on the positions of the invaders on Zmiyiniy Island.

This was announced by Vladislav Nazarov, Spokesman of OC “South”, in his video.

He said that the Defense Forces used combined forces and equipment. In addition, he stressed that the enemy suffered significant losses.

“Сoncentrated strike was conducted using various forces and methods on the Zmiyiniy Island, during which what the Rashists proudly called the island garrison suffered significant losses,” he said.

He also stressed that the operation is still on and needs informational silence before it is accomplished.

On June 17, the Ukrainian military sank the Russian tugboat Vasily Bech, which was transporting equipment and ammunition to the island.

Also, according to the statement of the occupying authorities of the Crimea, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the drilling platforms of Chornomornaftogaz, which in 2014 were seized by the Crimea`s self-proclaimed authorities.
