The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video of the operation of the US supplied HIMARS rocket systems.

It was posted on the official page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff emphasized that the systems operate in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

“Zaporizhzhia direction. HIMARS continues the demilitarization of the Russian invasion army,” the statement said.

The video shows the operation of two installations. The launch of six missiles is also visible.

As previously reported, Ukraine received 4 such systems from the USA. Currently, it has already been announced that the same number of MLRS will be transferred to Ukraine, they should be delivered to Ukraine in mid-July.

The Pentagon notes that the Ukrainian servicemen make very good use of the supplied weapons systems.

“I think what you’re seeing on the battlefield is that Ukrainians are making good use of not just our assistance, but systems that they’re obtaining from our partners and allies around the world,” Pentagon Senior Defense Official said.

M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) uses a 6-wheel chassis of an M1140 FMTV tactical truck.

The system can be used as a rocket launcher with ammunition of different ranges, and as a tactical missile system.
