The Armed Forces of Ukraine received British-made tracked armored personnel carriers.
Radio Svoboda Ukraine reports this in its video.
At least two FV103 Spartan armored personnel carriers were spotted near the front line in the east of the country.
According to the media reports, a total of 40 British armored personnel carriers were expected to arrive in Ukraine.
The FV103 Spartan is a tracked armored personnel carrier that entered service with the British Army in 1978. It was developed as an APC variant of the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance family.
The vehicle can carry up to seven servicemen, including three crew members. It is armed with a single 7.62 mm machine gun.
The Spartan weight is 10 tons. It was equipped with a Jaguar 4.2 xk petrol engine, can reach a speed of up to 96 km/h, and has a range of 510 kilometers. In total, almost 1,000 units were produced.
In April, it was reported that Great Britain is transferring 120 armored vehicles to Ukraine, 80 of which were to be Mastiff, Husky, and Wolfhound armored vehicles.
The other 40 vehicles were to be used for combat reconnaissance. Those include the Spartan, which can transport up to four soldiers plus a crew of three, Samaritan ambulances, Sultan armored command vehicles, and Samson armored recovery vehicles.
As previously reported, the first group of Ukrainian soldiers had recently arrived in the United Kingdom and started their training.
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be trained at the training grounds under the guidance of experienced British military instructors.
Ben Wallace noted that the Ukrainian military will take courses based on basic UK military training.
