The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strikes on the Antonivskyi bridge in Kherson and the dam in Nova Kakhovka.

Nataliya Humeniuk, Head of the Coordination Press Center of Operational Command South, reported this on the air of the telethon, Ukrinform reports.

She added that several ammunition depots of the Russian invasion forces were also destroyed over the last 24 hours.

“The fire control that we maintained for several days in this area was put into action and yielded results. We are hitting targets quite significant targets, both the Antonivskyi and the Kakhovskyi bridges,” Humeniuk said.

Humeniuk also spoke about the destruction of enemy ammunition depots in the south of Ukraine.

“We are verifying the outcome to see which hits have been from our side as we do understand that the resistance movement in the occupied territories is also powerful,” Humeniuk said.

According to her, the partisan movement in the south and the undermining of depots are significantly influencing the moral capacity of the Russian troops and their combat capability. The invaders suffer losses in equipment, ammunition, and personnel.

The spokeswoman mentioned that “the Russians brought up their reserves, which they originally wanted to use for active actions in the future, to patch holes in the defense.”

As previously reported, explosions were heard late last night in a number of settlements in the occupied Kherson Region.

In particular, eyewitnesses reported an attack on the Antonivskyi bridge across Dnipro in Kherson. After the explosion, construction equipment probably caught fire on the bridge. With the help of this equipment, the Russians were trying to restore the road surface in recent days.

There were also reports of explosions near the Kakhovska HPP. In addition, information appeared about explosions in Oleshky, Chornobayivka, Skadovsk, and Chaplinka.

Previously, invaders admitted that the Antonivskyi Bridge in Kherson was seriously damaged by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The bridge has strategic importance for the Russian army. It is one of the main supply bridges used by invasion groups in Kherson to get to the right bank of the Dnipro River.
