Servicemen of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ivan Sirko of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received new pickup trucks.

This was reported by the press service of the military unit. Also, a video featuring receiving those vehicles was released.

The servicemen received 10 new Mitsubishi L200 pickups, which were purchased by the Come Back Alive Foundation.

“These “iron horses” will help the Cossacks of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade to defend their motherland. It is probably not worth talking about how much the vehicles are needed,” the military emphasized.

The military needs pickup trucks to perform various tasks at the frontline.

This includes evacuating the wounded and transporting food and ammunition.

“But we emphasize once again: this is a vital necessity. Sincere gratitude to the Come Back Alive Foundation and to everyone who supports the defenders in the fight against the Russian aggressor!” wrote the 92nd Mechanized Brigade in the statement.

At the beginning of September, Ukrainian volunteers reported that thanks to engaged citizens, they purchased 104 new Peugeot Landtrek and Mitsubishi L200s.

The total cost of the purchased SUVs is UAH 96,299,242 or €2.6 million.

The vehicles are used on the front lines and assist our servicemen in their fight against the Russian invaders.

The Come Back Alive Foundation implemented a large-scale project to purchase armored vehicles for the Ukrainian military.

The Foundation managed to purchase 11 LC79 APC-SH Fighter 2 armored vehicles. The total transaction amount was 2 million 321 thousand euros. The new equipment is intended for the Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi 36th Separate Marine Brigade, which was previously involved in defending Mariupol.
