A T-84 main battle tank was again spotted on the road in Arizona, USA, during transportation.

User Sergio Sanches posted a video of its transportation on the social media Tik-Tok.

It is probably being transported from or to the Yuma Proving Grounds, the main testing center of the US Army.

In 2003, the United States purchased four T-84 main battle tanks from Ukraine. They were initially delivered to the US Army’s Aberdeen Proving Grounds.

The combat vehicles have been used all this time to train American troops and test new types of weapons.

In 2020, the Outpost published a photo of a T-84 tank, also known as an upgraded version of the T-80UD, at the Yuma Proving Grounds in Arizona.

In February 2021, a Ukrainian-made T-84 tank was spotted being transported to Yuma Proving Grounds, the army’s main testing center.

At the end of November 2021, photographs of a T-84 tank during testing at a US test site surfaced. The photographs were taken from several angles of the combat vehicle through a daytime camera and a thermal imager:

It is not clear for what purpose one of these combat vehicles is being transported to the test site. The exact date of the video posted by Sergio Sanches is also unknown:

The first prototype of the T-84 was produced in 1994, and in the same year it was decided to build several more vehicles.

After the successful completion of an extensive testing program in the late 1990s, the T-84 tank entered service with the Ukrainian army.

On August 24, 2001, 10 T-84 tanks took part in a parade dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. Since the tanks were owned by the manufacturer at the time, some of them, namely four units, were sold to the United States. The rest of the tanks were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine only in 2018, during which time they managed to participate in the Strong Europe Tank Challenge 2018 and have been used in the war against Russia since the beginning of the large-scale invasion.
