Su-27 Strikes Enemy Position in Pokrovsk, Blocking Ukrainian Forces’ Advance

The enemy tried to fortify themselves in one of the buildings in the Pokrovsk agglomeration, blocking the advance of a Ukrainian infantry unit.

To avoid casualties and force the enemy out of their fortified position, the soldiers requested air support, according to the Soniashnyk Telegram channel.

A pair of Ukrainian Su-27s was quickly dispatched to carry out a precision strike on the enemy strongpoint.

The troops carried out the strike using GBU-62 guided bombs, ensuring high-precision impact and minimizing risks for our infantry.

The strike destroyed the invaders’ position and opened the way for further Ukrainian unit advancement in the area.

The command noted the speed and coordination of the crews, who have repeatedly demonstrated effective work in the Pokrovsk sector.

Air missions in this area have become an important component in containing and destroying enemy forces attempting to hold their defense in dense urban terrain.

“Ukraine’s Air Force is capable of providing precise, high-quality, and timely support to the infantry even in the most difficult conditions,” the Soniashnyk Telegram channel emphasized.

As previously reported, a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jet recently struck a Russian air-defense system.
