In the east of the country, Ukrainian operators have destroyed Russian armored vehicles.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported about this, releasing a video of the special forces combat mission.

According to the statement of the Security Service, 10 tanks and one armored personnel carrier of the Russian invaders were destroyed.

“This is how many Russian tanks were destroyed by special forces of the SSU “Bili Vovki” (“White Wolves” – ed.) in just one night!”, the statement reads.

It is noted that the enemy equipment was hit in the Donetsk direction.

“Our operators of the Special Operations Center “A” have destroyed enemy equipment in the Donetsk direction. One enemy APC burned down as well. Thus, eleven targets were destroyed! Overnight,” the SSU said in a Facebook post.

The published video showed that in order to detect and defeat Russian tanks and other armored vehicles, Ukrainian special forces used drones that dropped ammunition on the invaders’ equipment.

Following the hit and detonation of the ammunition, Russian combat vehicles flared up, and some of them exploded. Ukrainian drone operators had to use several munitions to defeat individual armored vehicles.

The operators likely used vertical take-off and landing drones that can hover in the air above the target and drop ammunition on it.

Judging by the published footage, it was HEAT ammunition that was used to defeat Russian armored vehicles. These are most likely converted to UAV drop warheads from rocket-propelled grenades, which are usually fired by an infantryman from a RPG-7 hand grenade launcher.

Now these warheads have been redesigned and adapted to use from a drone.

The Ukrainian special forces have also recently neutralized Russian Tor-М2 and S-300VM air defense systems. The systems were hit by drones carrying explosives.
