The Come Back Alive Foundation has transferred a Leleka-100 unmanned aerial vehicle to the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The Come Back Alive Foundation reported on this.
The system’s drones provide reconnaissance and adjustment of Ukrainian artillery fire at enemy targets.
SSU officers received a Leleka-100 system with three drones worth UAH 6,974,070.
The Come Back Alive Foundation team reported that these drones can fly at an altitude of up to 2,000 meters, reaching speeds of up to 140 km per hour.
The Ukrainian-made UAV is capable of conducting reconnaissance and adjusting fire at a depth of up to 50 km from the front line, operating both day and night.
For this purpose, each of the drones is equipped with a day and night video module, additional batteries, and a kit to increase air time.
“This interference-resistant Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial vehicle is capable of transmitting information from the battlefield in real-time and helps destroy enemy equipment. At present, the Leleka-100 drone is one of the best reconnaissance drones of the brigade level,” the Come Back Alive Foundation emphasized.
Previously, the Come Back Alive Foundation delivered a PD-2 reconnaissance system worth UAH 10 million to the Ukrainian Marines.
Leleka-100 is designed to assist in aerial reconnaissance, patrolling, and mapping with the ability to transmit operational information and obtain accurate geographical coordinates in real-time.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine adopted it in May 2021.
The system is adapted to work in a complex radio environment, in the mode of the deliberate staging of radio jamming or blocking of satellite navigation systems.
