Soldiers of the K2 unit of the 54th Mechanized Brigade have shown the effective elimination of the enemy tank with the Javelin anti-tank missile system.

A video of the military’s work has been published by the Return Alive Foundation.

The video shows a missile hitting a tank.

“This is not the first time that our K2 defenders delight Ukrainians with footage of destroying enemy equipment, and they promise not to stop until they clear this evil spirit from our land,” the Foundation said.

The launch of the Javelin shot was captured in the footage.

The result of the hit was recorded with a drone.

A few seconds after the fire, the tank’s ammunition exploded.

“Due to an accurate shot with the American Javelin anti-tank missile system, the vehicle’s ammunition ignited. A few seconds of burning were followed by the explosion, which left no chance to the occupiers,” the statement reads.

They also added that they periodically reinforce military units with the necessary technical equipment to make their hunts even more successful.

In the Mykolaiv direction, units of an anti-tank division of marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on constant ready alert. As soon as reconnaissance information about the enemy armored vehicle’s movement is received, the marines equipped with the Javelin ATGM immediately dispatch in the required direction.
