The soldiers of the 425th Assault Battalion Skala stormed the Russian invaders’ positions on the outskirts of Toretsk in the Donetsk region.

The military published a video of their combat work in a Telegram.

The footage from the Ukrainian drone captures the assault group of defenders first driving an M113 tracked armored personnel carrier (APC) through the streets of the settlement while houses are burning from Russian shelling.

The soldiers of the 425th Assault Battalion Skala then boarded an M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and drove toward the Russian positions.

With the fire support of an infantry fighting vehicle, the Ukrainian assault group landed, stormed, and cleared the territory where the invaders were trying to gain a foothold.

All the while, the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle is firing its automatic cannon at the Russian invaders on the other side.

“The soldiers of the 425th Assault Battalion Skala are always on the front line, defending our Ukraine. They do not have time for PR and interviews, because their daily work is to destroy the enemy!” the battalion’s press service said.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, Russian invaders carried out 15 attacks in the Toretsk sector near Toretsk and New York.

Previously, the assault group of the 425th Assault Battalion Skala of Operational Command East captured 16 Russian soldiers in New York, Donetsk region.

Ukrainian servicemen captured 16 Russian servicemen of the 9th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade. Before being deployed to the brigade, it was the 9th Separate Marine Regiment of the so-called “People’s Militia” of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic.”

Vladislav Akimov, a captured Russian lieutenant, said that the group’s task was to cross one of the intersections in the city area, which was controlled by a Ukrainian machine gun.

Due to the impossibility of fulfilling the task set by the Russian command, the Russians were forced to entrench themselves in a large 16-story grain elevator.
