Soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade fought off a Russian assault in the eastern direction.

Brigade’s press service reported on this and published a video of the incident.

The Russians assaulted this section of the frontline using a tank and a wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC) carrying infantry.

The defenders shared that the enemy column of armored vehicles moving towards their positions was detected in time by UAV pilots of the 3rd Assault Brigade.

After detecting the enemy’s movement, the brigade’s units immediately proceeded to destroy it.

Ukrainian defenders used FPV attack drones to eliminate the Russian invaders.

“The tank was hit instantly from the sky. The Beter, which started to back up, was caught up. Even before the control hits, the Russian infantry began to flee back,” the 3rd Brigade noted.

In a short time, the operators of Ukrainian attack drones destroyed the enemy armored vehicles. Analysts of the telegram channel “War in Ukraine. Losses of equipment” discovered that Russian equipment was destroyed near the village of Karmazynivka in the Luhansk region.

The Brigade noted that the enemy assault on the frontline was repulsed by the Unmanned Systems Battalion, FATUM soldiers from the anti-tank battalion, Revenge group from the 1st Mechanised Battalion and soldiers from the 1st Assault Battalion.

Last week, Ukrainian Air Force fighters used American GBU-39 bombs to hit a Russian depot and command post in the Kharkiv region.

Ukrainian aviation used three precision-guided bombs. They hit Russian positions in the village of Nova Tarasivka in the Kharkiv region. The 15th Russian Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment reportedly occupies the village.

The American GBU-39 lightweight guided precision aerial bomb weighs 130 kilograms, has a diameter of about 190 mm, and is about 1.8 m long. When dropped from a high altitude, it can reach a maximum range of up to 110 km.
