The 30th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian tank hiding out in the woods.

The attack on the armored vehicles of the Russian occupation troops was carried out by the artillery of the 30th Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstanty Ostrogski.

The respective video, recorded by a drone, was published on social networks.

First, Ukrainian soldiers used a reconnaissance drone to find a Russian T-64 tank marked with the letter “Z” on the top of the turret.

The invaders’ tank was actively maneuvering and firing from its cannon, and then hid in a disguised position in the woods.

Having found the location of the enemy T-64 tank, Ukrainian gunners struck this position.

Upon the hit of an artillery shell, the Russian tank started burning and was destroyed through the internal burnout of ammunition of the vehicle.

Recently, the soldiers of this mechanized brigade struck Russian trucks, which were providing the invaders with the necessary supplies.

After vehicles were defeated, the ammunition detonated in part of them.

The 30th Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstanty Ostrogski is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. According to the organizational and staffing structure, it is a part of the Operational Command “North”.

Since 2018, the brigade is named after Prince Konstanty Ostrogski – Commander of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania from the Middle Ages.
