The Russian 2S1 Gvozdika was hit by FPV drones controlled by operators of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade.
The Russian 122mm self-propelled howitzer was in a firing place in a deployed position. It was discovered by the Ukrainian defenders in one of the frontline areas.
Ukrainian soldiers used several FPV kamikaze drones to destroy the 2S1 Gvozdika.
After another defeat, the Russian self-propelled howitzer caught fire from the inside, which led to its disabling.
Recently, soldiers of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss” destroyed a Russian Msta-S self-propelled howitzer.
The Russian self-propelled howitzer was hit by an FPV drone. OSINT researchers found out that it had been shot down near the town of Popasna in the Luhansk region.

2S1 Gvozdika is a 122mm self-propelled howitzer based on the MT-LB chassis and designed to destroy enemy manpower, artillery batteries, and fortifications.
The body of the vehicle is welded from steel armored rolled sheets, completely hermetic and capable of overcoming water obstacles. The hull is divided into three compartments: power (engine and transmission), control compartment and combat one.
