Slovenia has supplied ammunition for Kalashnikov assault rifles and 35 BMPs to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Slovenia Marjan Šarec during a meeting in Brussels, writes the Rtvslo.
He noted that currently the weapons delivery is still in process.
Minister Šarec added that the country has exhausted its arsenal of weapons they can supply to Ukraine. The Slovenian Minister of Defense did not specify which weapons he was talking about.
At the same time, Slovenia will continue to help Ukraine, particularly with demining and military training that can take place in Slovenia.
Previously we reported about the negotiations between Slovenia and Germany on the equipment exchange.
Slovenia is expected to provide Ukraine with a large number of its tanks, and will receive German Marder and Fuchs IFVs instead.
It is unknown whether these negotiations are still ongoing.
During visit to Kyiv, the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also offered Ukraine an expanded training program for the Ukrainian military.
