The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said that law enforcement officers would be able to respond in a timely manner to any provocations of the neighboring state.

The Center is equipped with modern computers, special equipment and a video system.

The center will be updated on the situation on the border with Poland and Belarus.

The Volyn border detachment is responsible for these sections on the border.

“Law enforcement officers will be able to respond in a timely manner to any provocations of the neighboring state, to attempts by the enemy to illegally cross the border, as well as to control the actions of their units,” the border guards said.

Also the other day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine inspected the readiness of units to repel a possible invasion from Belarus.

“The defense forces have worked out elements of countering the landing of an airborne troops, as well as sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy in the area of a critical infrastructure facility; inflicting fire damage by the forces of mortar and artillery batteries, taking the enemy into an encirclement, crossing a water barrier, repelling a massive attack of unmanned aerial vehicles and completely destroying the enemy with all available means,” said Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev.

According to Nayev, in Belarus they are inspecting the 2nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 1st Tank Army of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, Major General Budanov noted that Russia arranges “carousels”, bringing the military towards Ukraine, and then taking them back. According to him, the Russian Federation wants to keep the Ukrainian forces in the north in tension so that they will not be transferred to other directions.

Currently, there are no signs of the imminent invasion of the Russian Federation from the north, Budanov says. And the General Staff does not see signs of the formation of strike groups in Belarus. Long-term risks remain, Budanov admitted. However, no intelligence indicates an immediate threat.

It should be reminded that the Center for National Resistance has recently reported that Russia is preparing provocations on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
