The Spokesman of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhii Bratchuk, denied Ukraine’s involvement in the attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in occupied Sevastopol.
“We consider this a deliberate provocation. Units of informational and psychological special operations of the Russian Federation are at work,” Bratchuk said on TSN.
He pointed out that the attack took place on the “sacred” for Russians “Navy Day”.
On July 31, the Headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol was attacked with a drone. The head of the occupation administration of the Ukrainian city Mikhail Razvozhayev reported about this. According to him, five employees of the fleet headquarters had been injured in the incident, but no casualties reported.
All festive events in honor of the Navy Day in Sevastopol had been canceled.
The distance from the nearest unoccupied Ukrainian territory to Sevastopol is at least 280 km.
