On the night of January 17, an An-148-100-EM medical plane belonging to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations landed at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow. It took off from Grozny after reports of an accident involving the Secretary of the Security Council of Chechnya, 18-year-old Adam Kadyrov.
According to FlightRadar, the plane arrived at 00:10 Kyiv time, reports the publication Vazhnye Istorii.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations plane took off from Chechnya at 18:37 and covered the distance to Moscow about half an hour faster than a regular flight. This confirms that the transport was carried out in an expedited manner.
According to sources from the Chechen opposition movement Niyso and the publication Kavkaz.Realii, at around 4:00 p.m., Adam Kadyrov was involved in a car accident after losing control of his vehicle while driving at high speed.
Information about his condition remains contradictory: according to some sources, he is in serious condition, while others say he has regained consciousness and doctors are not expressing serious concerns about his future.
Kadyrov was initially taken to the intensive care unit of the republican hospital in Grozny, but later it was decided to transfer him to Moscow for further treatment.
Adam Kadyrov is also the son of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, and leads his personal security detail.
