Satellite images confirmed damage caused by Ukrainian drones to the Vtorovo oil pumping station in the Vladimir region of Russia.
Analysts from the Dnipro OSINT group published the images on the morning of September 9.
The night before, on the evening of September 8, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported a Ukrainian strike on this facility during the night of September 7.
He specified that fighters of the 14th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces performed the strike.
“Fuel supply in Moscow is reportedly a bit disrupted. The Vtorovo oil pumping station, Transneft (Penkino, Vladimir region, Russia), has been slightly damaged. The pumping station that pumps (or pumped) diesel fuel to the Moscow Ring Oil Product Pipeline,” the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces wrote.
The released satellite images show damage to at least two tanks on the territory of the Vtorovo oil pumping station, which belongs to Transneft – the Russian company operating the main oil pipelines.
This infrastructure facility is designed for the reception, storage, and pumping of oil through pipelines.
