This morning, the invaders once again fired at the border areas of the Sumy Region with artillery shells. The shells were filled with pointed steel darts.

The relevant statement was made by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The Russians shelled the Shostka District three times from the Russian village of Tyotkino.

In one instance steel rods from Russian shells damaged civilian houses and property.

The SBGS reported that the invaders used such shells in Bucha and Irpin. Forensic experts found metal darts in the bodies of the dead in the Kyiv Region.

The Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said that on May 30 between 12 AM and 8 AM, Russian troops has opened fire four more times.

• Two air strikes from the territory of the Russian Federation that targeted the Khotyn community;
• Six fire rounds at Sumy Region from multiple rocket launchers positioned on the Russian territory;
• Bilopillia community was subjected to around 10 self-propelled artillery attacks also launched from the territory of the Russian Federation;
• Russian troops fired eight rounds of mortar fire at Seredyna-Buda community in the Shostka District.

Shellings were also recorded the day before, affecting the town of Semenivka in the Chernihiv Region and Bachivsk village in the Sumy Region.
