Paratroopers of the 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade destroyed 11 units of Russian equipment in one assault attempt near Novomykhailivka.

The brigade’s press service stated this.

“After several days of licking their wounds, the enemy launched another massive attack. However, the Russians failed to achieve the element of surprise,” the brigade wrote.

It is reported that the enemy used 17 units of equipment in an attempt to storm Ukrainian positions.

The paratroopers detail that the enemy lost 4 tanks, 6 infantry fighting vehicles, and an armored recovery vehicle during the attack.

The released footage shows Russian armored vehicles and infantry being hit by mines, destroyed by artillery, including cluster munitions, and hit by drones.

Combat missions of the 79th Brigade

Russians continue to attempt to storm Ukrainian positions near Novomykhaylivka in the Donetsk region.

Each time, the paratroopers inflict significant losses in Russian equipment and manpower.

Militarnyi previously reported that Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed Russian infantry near Novomykhaylivka using drones with ammunition.

The enemy positions with personnel came under Ukrainian attack at night. Some Russians were eliminated, and the rest were wounded or injured.

Ukrainian soldiers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade recently drove the Russian invaders out of their position on one of the sections of the eastern front.

The operators used drones with ammunition and supported the assault actions of Ukrainian infantry.
