Dozens of people have been killed and injured in Kramatorsk after a Russian missile strike on a railway station.

Today, on April 8, 2022, two Russian missiles hit the Kramatorsk railway station in the Donetsk region, reports the Ukrzaliznytsia press service of .
According to the operative data, over n 30 people were killed and more than 100 were injured in the Russian airstrike on the Kramatorsk railway station.
“This was a targeted attack against the passenger infrastructure of the railway and residents of the city of Kramatorsk,” says the report.
Judging by the photos of the remnants of the missiles, these are the missiles of the “Tochka U” tactical ballistic missile system.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, noted that there were thousands of people at the railway station during the missile strike, as the evacuation of the Donetsk region’s residents to safer areas of Ukraine is currently underway.
Trains are departing to various cities in the West and Center of Ukraine.
Police and rescue workers are reporting dozens of dead and injured.
Back in March, it was reported that Russia started using the “Tochka U” tactical ballistic missile systems against Ukraine.
This is confirmed by photo and video materials available online.
Thus, on March 5, 2022, launchers of the system were recorded moving towards the Ukrainian border across the territory of Belarus.
