In occupied Donetsk, a Russian Supercam drone crashed into a hospital building.

The photos were posted on social media.

On the evening of February 25, two photos were published on the Telegram channel of the so-called “Ministry of Health of the DPR”.

Invaders also wrote in the statement: “a drone struck a hospital in Donetsk. As a result of the UAV hitting one of the healthcare facilities, the glazing was damaged.”

Invaders probably thought it was a Ukrainian drone and decided to publish photos of the broken window and the drone’s wreckage for propaganda purposes.

However, according to the photo, it was Russians themselves who hit the hospital with their own UAV.

A large fragment of a drone that smashed a window in a building in occupied Donetsk shows that it was a Russian-made Supercam S350.

Supercam

Russian invaders use the Supercam S350 drone for aerial photography to create highly detailed digital maps and conduct remote aerial monitoring of terrain and objects.

Initially, these drones were supplied to rescue services in Russia. But after the invasion of Ukraine, they began to be used by armed forces of the Russian Federation for reconnaissance.

The drone has a flight duration of 4.5 hours and can transmit information over a distance of up to 70-100 km. This provides the necessary range of capabilities to use the UAV in surveillance and reconnaissance.

In December, Militarnyi reported that Ukrainian artillery neutralized the operators of a Russian Supercam drone in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The crew tried to evacuate in a minibus after the Supercam reconnaissance drone landed. However, the Shark UAS managed to adjust the US M142 HIMARS rocket system that hit the vehicle with a single shell.
