Russian troops have expanded the site for launching Shahed drones across the territory of Ukraine in the village of Navlya, Bryansk region.

This information is contained in the analysis of satellite images published by the Ukrainian analytical group “Strategic Aviation of the Russian Federation”.

The recorded changes indicate the active development of the launch infrastructure used for kamikaze drone attacks.

Three stationary launchers for launching Shahed and Gerbera UAVs have been placed on the site.

In addition, there is a separate road designed to launch drones from automobile platforms.

Near the launching positions, 19 small garages were built to store drones, each of which can hold up to two vehicles.

Three large concrete storage hangars have been built next to the road, as well as three more shelters between the launch roads.

Analysts point out that the facility is located in close proximity to the state border of Ukraine.

Despite this, the enemy continues to build up the launch site’s capacity, increasing the number of possible launches of Shahed drones per attack by at least 150 units.

In early September, a representative of the Defense Intelligence, Andriy Yusov, reported that Russia has the technical capability to produce up to 2,700 Shahed-type attack drones per month.

According to the DIU, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupation forces have used more than 112,000 of these attack drones against Ukraine.

Earlier it became known that the Russians equipped Shahed drones with a tandem warhead weighing 100 kg.
