In the Zaporizhzhia Region, the Russian military created a scrap heap of its destroyed equipment.
Military equipment is transported on the outskirts of the city of Kamianka, in the Polohy district.
The published photos reveal damaged trucks, fuel servicing trucks and armored vehicles.
The destroyed equipment has tactical signs of the Latin letter “Z”.
As previously reported, this is not the first scrap heap of destroyed Russian equipment detected by Ukrainian forces.
In April 2022, Ukrainian forces explored the territory of Russia and found ‘a cemetery’ of destroyed equipment of the Russian army.
Ukrainian reconnaissance Leleka-100 drone found a large weapons garbage dump near the Russian village of Golovchino, Belgorod Region.
At that time, the journalists counted 57 military vehicles, including at least 17 tanks. There were at least seven self-propelled artillery guns, armored fighting vehicles, bridge-builders, and two tank recovery vehicles.
Previously, a dump of destroyed armored vehicles of the Russian military appeared near the city of Bucha in the Kyiv Region.
In particular, the ‘cemetery’ had many units of Russian BTR-82A armored personnel carriers and amphibious assault vehicles.
Back in 2020, the photos of Russian army equipment destroyed in Ukraine and stored in the Rostov Region were released.
The identification marks of the Russian army in the form of white circles were visible on the photos featuring the destroyed equipment. These marks were applied to Russian equipment during the invasion of Ukraine in 2014.
