Russians with Т-80BV tanks are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense near the village of Spirne in the Donetsk region.

Footage featuring the repelling of invaders’ attacks was published on the page of the 3rd “Svoboda” Infantry Battalion of the 4th “Rubizh” Rapid Reaction Brigade.

The 3rd “Svoboda” Infantry Battalion has been defending the heaviest sections of the front since the first day of a full-scale invasion.

The Battalion is currently deployed in the area where the enemy has better positions in tactical terms and has accumulated a large number of tanks, which regularly try to break through the front line.

Among the many assaults in May and June, the battalion singled out the most difficult battles in recent times.

In early June, the Russian assault lasted a day and had three waves.

“That terrible and almost historical battle (quoting the battalion commander Petro “Apostol” Kuzik) resulted in five destroyed enemy tanks that you see in the video,” the soldiers report.

The second assault took place only recently. The invasion forces, having drawn conclusions, first launched infantry and only then attacked with tanks.

The National Guardsman damaged one IFV, burned one APC and one tank, and another tank was hit jointly with a unit of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade. At that time, the Russian soldier was also captured.

The released video captures the tank convoys of Russians moving towards the village of Spirne in the Donetsk region, which is under the control of Ukrainian forces.

The video also shows at least three completely destroyed Т-80BV tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
