The launcher of Russia’s newest air defense system, the S-350 Vityaz, exploded on an anti-tank mine.
The video of the incident was published in the “Dosye Shpiona” Telegram channel.
The incident reportedly took place a few days ago in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.
As a result of hitting a mine, the undercarriage of the 50P6 self-propelled launcher from the S-350 air defense system was severely damaged. The Russians hit the minefield while driving at night.
It is claimed that none of the crew was injured by the mine explosion. The anti-aircraft missiles on the launcher did not detonate, which prevented it from being completely destroyed.
Judging by this being an occupied territory, the invaders most likely hit their own mine.
The Telegram channel says that the damaged launcher is still in the same place where it exploded. The invaders are afraid to evacuate it because of the large number of anti-tank mines that have been placed around it.
The S-350 Vityaz air defense system is intended to replace the S-300PS and Buk-M1-2 air defense systems. It is designed to defend administrative, industrial, and military facilities from massive air strikes. The system is supposedly capable of simultaneously repelling the strikes from various air threats from different directions.
The propaganda media of the aggressor country reported the arrival of the S-350 at the front in the spring of 2023.
On December 6, 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine shared a video in which the defeat of Russian equipment was recorded in the temporarily occupied territory.

At the time, it was stated that soldiers of the 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine from the Lastivka attack drone unit, namely the Samosud crew, had used FPV drones to hit TEL from the Russian S-350 system.
However, it is worth noting that it is difficult to identify the vehicles in the published video due to the distance and poor image quality of the drone’s camera.
