Russian troops arranged a “cemetery” for their damaged military equipment in the occupied Crimea near Dzhankoy town.
A lot of damaged vehicles marked with Z-letter was noticed at technique’s temporary location.
One can also see spot self-propelled artillery howitzers and engineering military vehicles.
There’s a significant number of tanks, in particular, the Т-90Аs main battle tanks seen in the temporary base.
Many vehicles suffered damage and can’t be restored.
Presumably, a part of equipment will be disassembled into spare parts that can still be used.
In June, the publication “Crimea Realities” reported that the Russian military began to create a base in the Dzhankoy area.
A temporary base was established on the outskirts of Novostepove village near Dzhankoy in Crimea.
Then the journalists noticed military trucks, towed howitzers, APCs, radars and communication equipment near the highway Simferopol-Dzhankoy. They also noticed a campsite near the wooded land.
As reported earlier, Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, urged all Ukrainians residing in the occupied districts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions to evacuate in every possible way.
“No matter how hard it is in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government today… Anyway, staying on the territory of Kherson or Zaporizhzhya region is many times worse and at times more dangerous.”
“Even if they are deported to Russia, we will still find an opportunity to help people return. Even if it is necessary to move through the Crimea, when we talk about the Kherson region, it should be done in this direction. We must look for an opportunity to leave, because our Armed Forces will de-occupy. It will be a huge fight. I don’t want to scare anyone, everyone understands everything.”
