Russia has sent two tactical groups battalions from Abkhazia to Ukraine. They are expected to enter Ukraine on March 10-11.
Militarnyi reports about it with reference to “Nashi Hroshi.Lviv” publication, that conducted OSINT investigation in the Russian social network Vkontakte.
Thus, the journalists managed to become members of the closed chats, in which the servicemen of the 7th military base stationed in the occupied territory of Georgia in Abkhazia were talking about the plans for them to be sent to Ukraine.
Commenting on the prospect of entering Ukraine, Russian soldiers wrote: “This is the job, and the company commander is going crazy”, “I am having cold feet, if they blow up the column, then the whole journey is over”, “I almost didn’t sleep tonight, I was thinking whether to write the papers or not. I don’t want to be overly dramatic, but it is scary…”
Thus, all the servicemen are aware that they are not going for training. This should be taken into account by the Armed Forces in case those fighters are captured.
The 7th Krasnodar military base of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is stationed in Gadauta, Georgia (occupied part of Abkhazia).
It has T-72B3, BMP-3, BTR-82A, along with artillery – 2S3 Akatsiya and multiple rocket launcher BM-21 “Grad” at its disposal.
