The Russian air-launched Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles that attacked Lviv on September 4 entered Ukrainian airspace via Belarus.
This is according to the Ukrainian airspace monitoring project “monitor.”
Two Russian supersonic MiG-31K interceptors reportedly launched missiles from the Tula region.
They reached Lviv at around 05:47 am and inflicted damage.
Judging by the published infographic, the missiles flew about a hundred kilometers over the territory of the Gomel region of Belarus through the Bragin and Narovlya districts.
The Kh-47M2s passed through the 2.5-year-old flight restriction zone over the Belarus-Ukraine border area.
Russian weapons enter Belarusian airspace both with the consent of the local government and as a result of emergency situations.
Militarnyi recently reported that the Belarusian Air Force intercepted a Russian kamikaze drone over its territory.
During the missile attack on Ukraine, a Russian kamikaze drone flew into the airspace of the Republic of Belarus in the Yelsk district.
Then, after entering the airspace of Belarus, the drone stayed there for about 20 minutes.
During this time, fighter jets of the Belarusian Air Force accompanied the UAV and, according to eyewitnesses, shot it down at 03:55.
Local residents say that at least two explosions were heard before the downing, followed by a bright flash in the sky.
