Russian Drone Strikes Civilian Train in Kryvyi Rih District

Russian troops attacked a Ukrzaliznytsia Ukrainian Railways commuter passenger train in the Kryvyi Rih district.

This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba.

The drone hit one of the cars of the commuter train, which was in motion. As a result of the attack, one person was killed.

Seven more people, according to him, were injured.

“The victims were hospitalized to receive the necessary medical care,” the deputy prime minister said.

The train passengers were evacuated. Transportation to their destinations is currently being organized for them.

Ukrzaliznytsia Ukrainian Railways clarified that, according to preliminary information, one person died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Another person suffered serious injuries, and up to five passengers have cuts of varying severity.
