The ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation significantly reduced activity at sea near occupied Sevastopol.
This is evidenced by a satellite image from November 12, 2022, which was released by OSINT analyst H I Sutton.
An image from space shows that the absolute majority of ships are staying near the walls of Sevastopol Bay.
In particular, there are two frigates of the Burevestnik 11356R project (probably Admiral Makarov and Admiral Grigovorovich) on the base.
Moreover, not a single ship or vessel was recorded either on the raid of Sevastopol or in the patrol zone.
The activity of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation significantly decreased after the attack on Sevastopol by UAVs and surface drones on October 29, 2022.
Recall that a video published on October 29 showcased how a surface drone attacked the 11356R project frigate Admiral Makarov. This ship became the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet after the Ukrainian nav destroyed the Moskva missile cruiser.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not confirm the defeat of this particular ship, but admitted damage to the Ivan Golubets minesweeper.
On October 29, surface drones and unmanned aerial vehicles attacked ships located in Sevastopol Bay.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, nine unmanned aerial vehicles and seven autonomous surface unmanned vehicles were involved in the attack.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a fundraiser to create the world’s first fleet of surface drones.
Ukraine plans to build a batch of 100 such national development USVs. The cost of each is about UAH 10 million. You can donate through the fundraising platform UNITED24.
