A Russian base was neutralized in the Krynychanske village, Luhansk Region.
The Russian military has placed its base in the local school №18.
On August 13, Russian media reported that this school had been struck by M142 HIMARS rocket systems.
“In Krynychanske, near Kirovsk, information has been received about the shelling of the school with American Himars rocket systems tonight,” the Russian media reported.
On August 14, the local occupation authorities confirmed the strike and released photos featuring the destroyed school.
“The Chervonohvardiyske (former name of Krynychanske — mil.in.ua) urban village, which was sleeping peacefully, was shelled. The school building, which was ready to open its doors to the children of the village, was destroyed at night.”
On the evening of August 14, a telegram user, Shalnyak Merkucio, published a post in which he informed about an accurate strike on the location of Russian forces.
“Urgent meeting! An accurate hit on the location – the victims… part of the property was burned. Yes, shit happens… but it is in our power to help them, not run them in slippers,” Shalnyak Merkucio wrote.
Also, Shalnyak Merkucio released photos featuring the territory of the school in Krynychanske and the destroyed school and weapons.
It is worth noting that the released photo shows Russian AK-12 and AK-74 assault rifles with KM-AK kits (weapons modernization kit) and a 1PN79M-3 thermal sight for the Russian 9K129 Kornet ATGM.
Similar weapons, in this configuration, are typically used by Russian special operations forces.
