On August 18, at night explosions took place and a fire started in a depot in the temporarily occupied Amvrosiivka, Donetsk Region.

It is reported that ammunition was detonated in the depot.

According to local residents, several explosions were heard during the night as a result of the shelling of the temporarily occupied city.

A social media video featured a fire at one of the facilities in Amvrosiivka, where the sounds of detonation can be heard. Presumably, that could be the invaders’ ammunition depot.

According to eyewitnesses, the detonation of Russian ammunition continued throughout the night of August 18.

Serhiy Bratchuk, the spokesman of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, wrote that the explosions occurred at the local depot of the invaders.

Also, the servicemen of Ukraine struck again at the bridge in Nova Kakhovka, strategically important for the Russians.

Military correspondent Andrii Tsaplienko reported about this.

This is not the first blow to the bridge. The day before, the invaders announced that it had been repaired.

At the same time, it is impossible for heavy equipment to pass through it, Natalia Humeniuk, head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, said on the air of the Ukrainian telethon.

“According to our data, passage is possible only for cars, which they (the Russian invaders) are trying to evacuate the most valuable staff,” she answered.

Humeniuk added that the bridge is under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
