An ammunition depot of Russian troops exploded in the temporarily occupied city of Kadiivka in the Lugansk Region.
This is reported on social media.
On the night of July 15, local residents of the Ukrainian city occupied by Russians started posting about explosions and fires.
Eyewitnesses shared videos featuring sounds of ammunition detonation, a fire, and some thick smoke.
According to the “official” version from the occupation administration it’s nitrate burning. This was their explanation for previous ammunition explosions in Nova Kakhovka as well.
On the night of July 11, a massive explosion occurred in the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Region.
Recently, several Russian military armored personnel carriers also burned down in occupied Kadiivka.
Russian invasion troops used local Specialized School No.10 as their base and military equipment station.
This is not the first time that such incidents occur at the stationed position of the invasion forces in Kadiivka.
On July 5, another Russian ammunition depot burned down there. The warehouse was one of the main shells suppliers for the enemy in the direction of Popasna – Sievierodonetsk – Lysychansk – Bakhmut.
Back then the target was destroyed by missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Kadiivka (former Stakhanov) is located in the Alchevsk district in the Luhansk Region. The city itself is located near the Stakhanov Railway Station. The Kamyshuvakha river flows through the city. On May 12, 2016, the city restored its historical name Kadiivka.
