A Russian ammunition depot exploded in the Starobeshiv district of the Donetsk Region.

The detonation of ammunition began on the night of August 23.

It is reported that the explosions were seen outside the city by residents of Kalmiuske settlement.

Locals immediately started posting videos featuring the fire and flashes.

The sounds of the detonation of the invaders’ ammunition could be heard in all nearby settlements.

Presumably, the Russian military located a depot somewhere in the industrial zone between the settlements of Kalmiuske and Rozdolne.

The fire at the depot was visible for several kilometers.

The depots of the Russians

Conducting an offensive is possible only in the case of seamless ammunition and fuel supply, in sufficient quantities.

After the Ukrainian servicemen received new high-precision weapons from the US, in particular the M142/M270 rocket systems, depots, command posts, and military bases of the Russians behind the front line began to explode in large numbers.

Due to this, the Russians had to rebuild the system of rear and combat support of the troops.

It is also important for Ukraine to increase its range of hitting enemy targets.
