Russia has reportedly given Iran a list of 55 key energy infrastructure sites in Israel that could be targeted.

According to The Jerusalem Post, citing a source close to Ukrainian intelligence, the sites are grouped into three categories based on their strategic importance.

Level 1 includes the most critical facilities – those whose destruction could cripple Israel’s national energy system. The report identifies the Orot Rabin power plant as a primary target.

Level 2 includes major urban and industrial energy hubs, mostly in the central part of the country, that serve large population centers.

Level 3 covers local infrastructure, including regional substations that supply industrial zones and smaller power plants.

A Russian assessment of Israel’s vulnerabilities notes that its power grid is highly isolated.

As the country is effectively an “energy island” and does not import electricity from neighboring states, damage to even a few key components could trigger a large-scale and prolonged energy collapse, with widespread outages and technical failures that would be difficult to repair.

On March 28, it was reported that Russian satellites had imaged U.S. military sites in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region on behalf of Iran.
