The Belarusian monitoring group Belaruskiy Hayun records the activity of Il-76 transport aircraft of the Russian Federation. The aircraft may be bringing S-300 and S-400 missiles from Belarus to Russia.

Belaruskiy Hayun analytics stressed that this is the most likely version that explains the transport aviation activity.

Over the past two days, eight Il-76s of the Russian Aerospace Forces have arrived at Machulishchy Air Base (Belarus) from the Russian Federation. There were two flights of four aircraft. Their registration numbers were recorded – RF-76605, RA-76767, RA-78789 and RF-76731.

According to the monitoring group, the planes were at the airfield for 3.5-4.5 hours on November 11, and up to 6.5 hours on November 12, which is long enough for unloading.

According to the monitoring group Belaruskiy Hayun, there can be three versions of such activity of the transport aircraft of the Russian Federation:

• bringing in new missiles and/or ammunition to the Russian Federation
• taking out missiles and/or ammunition from Belarus to the Russian Federation
• bringing in and taking out of various types of weapons at the same time.

At the same time, the version about the removal of the equipment has indirect evidence: on November 9 and 10, just before the Il-76 flights began, at least 16 trawls with containers for missiles for the S-300 and S-400 air defense systems were moving in the direction of the airport. They carried 4 missile containers each, for a total of 64 missiles.

Other versions are not currently confirmed. The export of missiles or other equipment from the airfield after the arrival of the Il-76 was not recorded.

According to the analysts, cargo from Belarus is transported to the Millerovo air base in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation (4 flights), the Rostov-on-Don Central airport (2 flights), the Chkalovsky air base in the Moscow region (1 flight) and the Seshcha air base in the Bryansk region – 1 flight.

In addition, the group regularly records aviation activity, in particular, regular flights of MiG-31s, which carry Kinzhal missiles.

This is not the first case of the transportation of equipment from the territory of Belarus to the Russian Federation. In particular, the transfer of T-72 tanks and BMP-2 to Russia was recorded.
